Title service FAQ

Fees
DriverOS does not set or collect government fees. Your agency’s current fees are confirmed during specialist review.
Is DriverOS affiliated with a government agency?

No. DriverOS is an independent, private service. We help you understand and prepare requests; your state or county agency makes all official decisions.

How much does it cost?

Starting a request is free and nothing is charged during review. Government fees are set by your state, and any DriverOS service fee will be shown clearly before you agree to anything.

What documents will I need?

It depends on your state and situation. A specialist reviews your request first, then tells you exactly which documents apply — so you don’t gather paperwork you don’t need.

How do I send documents securely?

Documents are only requested after review, through a private, single-use upload link tied to your request. Please don’t email copies of your title or ID.

Can you help with an out-of-state or inherited vehicle?

Yes — those go to our title concierge. Describe your situation and a specialist will explain the options available in your state.
